Dafna Levy sucht nach der kurdischen Stimme, die nicht gehört wurde.
Als sie kurdischen Aktivisten in Amsterdam half, erkannte sie, dass der Kampf der Kurden jahrelang andauert und ihre Stimme von der Türkei, dem Irak und dem Iran niedergeschlagen wird. Gemeinsam mit Peter Fleur, Tamar Borer Colin McLean, Angus Shamal, Akiva Pumerant, Boaz Hartavi und weiteren Künstlern suchte dafna nach einem Lied eines kurdischen Künstlers über die Kurden-Diaspora. Sie baute den Soundtrack mit Loops von Pere Ubu David Thomas auf. In Shoresh (Wurzel) auf den Hügeln Jerusalems in einem jüdischen Kurdendorf. Die Hubschrauber schützen die Beerdigung von Yitchak Rabin.
Tamar tanzt in einem verbrannten Pflaumenbaum. Der Pflaumenbaum ist Teil der ursprünglichen Vegetation des ursprünglichen Waldes. Europäische Juden in den 50er Jahren versuchen, Jerusalem wie den Shwartz-Wald in Deutschland aussehen zu lassen und viele Kiefern zu planen, die überhaupt nicht zur Landschaft passten. Ein Brand hat den Wald 1995 niedergeschlagen. Der ursprüngliche Wald kann wieder wachsen.

Helping Kurdish activists in Amsterdam she realised the struggle of the Kurds People goes on for years and their voice is put down by Turkey Iraq and Iran . joined forces with Peter Fleur, Tamar Borer Colin Mclean , Angus Shamal, Akiva Pumerant, Boaz Hartavi and more artists dafna went on looking for a song from kurdish artist about the kurds diaspora. She build up the sound track with loops from Pere Ubu David Thomas. In Shoresh (root) on Jerusalem hills in a Jewish Kurd village. The helicopters are protecting the funeral of Yitchak Rabin.
Tamar is dancing inside a burnt prune tree. Prune tree is part of the original vegetation of the original forest. European Jews in the 50’s try to make Jerusalem look like the Shwartz-wald in Germany, and plan lot’s of pine trees that disturbed the eco system of the natural forest. Fire took the forest down in 1995. The original forest can grow up again.

ברקע אליקופטרים מהלוויתו של יצחק רבין. הסרט נעשה בהשראת הארוע והרצח, יגאל אמיר הוא הבן של הגננת של ילדי אחותי.הוא היה מסתובב שם בחצר של גן גאולה . אבי ואני לא אהבנו בכלל שאחותי שולחת את הילדים לגן הזה ענתי הסבירה שהיא סומכת על הגננת היצירתית , אני מצאתי שהיא דומיננתית מדי אבל כמובן שלא התערבתי. באותו יום כשעבדתי בחצר הבית של אמי ואחותי בנווה עמל הגיעה הביתה אחותי ענתי נסערת ביותר היא התווכחה עם יגאל , שוב על פוליטיקה הוא היה זועם ואגרסיבי כאילו נכנס בו השד, הוא זעם שוב על ערבים ושמאלנים היא אמרה והיא נסתה להסביר לו שכולנו צריכים לחיות ביחד בשלום הוא התעקש לזרוק אותם לים היא עזבה בזעם והבטיחה לעצמה לא לחזור לשם יותר , אני זוכרת את הפנים שלה כאילו ראתה שד. בערב הלכנו להפגנה בכיכר נרגשים מהביקור של נשיא מצרים ומלאים אופטימיות היתה תחושה שעוד יש סיכוי להדברות ואז הגודזילה יגאל ירקה אש, ויצחק נפל אני זוכרת שחשבתי לעצמי שוב..בחיים לא יהיה כאן טוב הרגשת החוסר אונים הזו שוב מציפה ומזל שאני חוזרת לאמשטרדם . יצחק הוא גם חבר של אמא שהיתה אז רכזת השכונות של תל אביב ועשתה עבודת קודש . אחותי ואני הינו נזעמות/ בעלה היה באיזו תוכנית טלויזיה כמה ימים אחרי והגן על גאולה כאמא, לא הסכמתי עם ההחלטה שלו. גאולה היא חלק משטיפת המח שיגאל עבר היא גם ימנית מאד ודומיננתית. אחותי ענת טוענת שעיקר התיסכול שלו נובע מזה שהוא תמיד נדחה עלידי האשכנזיות בגוש שלהם. כי אחרי הכל הם לא אוהבים לא שמאלנים ולא מזרחיים .ככה זה התחיל ,גוש אמונים גוש של אשכנזים ובעיקר אמריקאים האידיאולגיה שלהם היא יודונאצית.
